The vibes at Kimball High School were awesome Friday night when the Junior Varsity football team crushed a three-year losing streak in an unforgettable blowout. Dominating the whole game, the Jags came away with a 41-0 victory over Burton High School.
From the very start of the game, Kimball set a tone Burton High just couldn't beat. The offense was unstoppable all night, their great passes making it difficult for the defense to stop them. By halftime, the Jags had a huge lead, leaving everyone wondering if they would finally end their losing streak.
While the offense was amazing, Kimball’s defense was equally as great. Having an entire game blow out was the best part of the night, thanks to every piece of the Jags’ efforts falling into place.
For the seniors who went through years of tough losses and brutal practices, the final whistle brought overwhelming joy. Student supporters joined the players and coaching staff in a celebration years in the making. The scoreboard’s "41-0" score was proof of the team's efforts. With this victory, the Jaguars aren't just celebrating a single win; they're showing a new era for Kimball High football. Now, with a new form of confidence, the team is looking for more games just like this one.
